1. It takes energy to learn new skills and adapt to new and ever-changing societal norms. Technology and its changing form have large impacts on individual and group approach and avoid.
The constant need to be on top of new technologies will be a large and stressful burden on society. The impacts of this increased stress will cause more health and mental issues on society and your organization.
2. The race for better technology and AI is not just about increasing efficiency and returns
Nations and businesses that develop the best technology and AI will be the leaders and can have huge implications for the good (prosperity - better standards of living) and the bad (conflict - battles along hierarchies and between In and Out Groups).
3. Nations and organizations that adapt well to change - and grab their share of technology and AI gains will prosper heavily over those that do not.
Expect quick changes in the balance of power between nations, companies, and individuals due to this technology shift. There is a lot of risk to a position on a hierarchy when there is fast exponential change (this increases risk in violence and unlawful behavior)
4. Expect to see advances in AI take on human qualities
Humans are designing technology and AI. We shall and do see some of the human qualities already within AI. An example of this is AI's desire to survive. We will see AI do what it needs to do to survive on its own away from humans. (What happens when AI sees humans as an outgroup, or lower on the hierarchy, or when other AI or humans threaten AI's survival?)

AI is too fast for the brain to keep up
Humans are already far behind understanding the difference between what is real or not real (disinformation, etc.). This is due to perception limitations that were not needed for most all of human existence. With AI technology, what used to be thought of as real (example - video, voice, etc.) may not be. How will human society trust and learn the difference?
What is your organizations strategy to battle disinformation that impacts your brand, your customers, and your employees?
The speed of technology change is and continue to be fast
How employees and customers learn and understand technology change impacts their experiences. It adaption rates impacts their self-esteem and approach/avoid.
How is your organization helping customers and employees adapt to constant changes in technologies?
Quick changes in technologies = Higher risks (and also potential rewards)
Humans compete for resources - self-esteem. An example of higher risks is in attacks on your organizations from competitors and bad actors seeking self-esteem boosts. The quicker the change in technologies the faster an organization needs to adapt and keep up to reduce the risks.
How is your organization mapping out ways that it can be attacked along with how it is currently - especially outside your perception?
